Bogotá's Ciclovia
- What is it?
Every Sunday and Holiday some of the most important roads in Bogotá are open to the People and closed to the cars. It starts at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. Residents of both genders, all ages, and multiple levels of ability go out to walk, bike, run, skate, and “people watch”.

" We have got a great video short up on StreetFilms....imagine 1.8 million people using 70+ miles of car-free streets to run, bike, walk EVERY Sunday? Well, in BOGOTA, Colombia they do exactly that during CICLOVIA!
Check it out: www.streetfilms.org
PLEASE forward around to friends, post on your blog, leave a comment, whatever! Help us get the word out.
Thanks. Clarence" |
